1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Conveya only uses cookies where necessary to deliver the service, and, when you consent, to understand how visitors use the product.
2. Categories we use
2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
Required to deliver Conveya. You cannot disable these.
- conveya_consent, stores your cookie choices. Retention: 13 months.
- next-auth.session-token, session cookie for signed-in users. Retention: 30 days.
- NEXT_LOCALE, language preference (EN / NL / DE). Retention: 12 months.
2.2 Analytics (opt-in)
Only active when you consent via the banner.
- Google Analytics 4, visitor counts, traffic sources, behaviour metrics. IPs are anonymised. Data is retained for 14 months. Processor: Google Ireland Limited.
- Microsoft Clarity, session recordings and heatmaps to improve UX. Input fields are never recorded. Data is retained for 13 months. Processor: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited.
2.3 Marketing (opt-in, currently inactive)
Conveya is not currently running paid advertising campaigns and does not load marketing pixels. If we add them in the future, this section will be updated and we'll ask for your consent again.
3. International transfers
Google and Microsoft may process data outside the EU. Both rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as their legal basis. See our Privacy Policy for details.
