Pick Conveya if…

  • Telephony is a core channel for you, not an extra checkbox, Conveya comes from AI telephony.
  • You want appointments booked from chat, WhatsApp or phone, that is built in.
  • You expect high volume and want fixed plans with included minutes instead of per-conversation pricing that adds up (€25 per 250 extra).
  • You want multiple agents or locations without having to jump straight to an Enterprise tier.

Pick Watermelon if…

  • You want the most established Dutch chatbot brand with a long track record and large references.
  • ISO 27001 certification is a hard requirement, Watermelon has it, and that is a genuine plus.
  • You are mostly chat- or e-commerce-driven and voice is not a priority, then Watermelon's mature chat product with a website crawler is the safer pick.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about this comparison

Is Conveya also ISO 27001 certified?

No. Conveya runs EU-hosted, but we do not claim ISO 27001 certification. Watermelon is ISO 27001 certified. If that certification is a hard requirement in your procurement, factor it in.

When does Watermelon's per-conversation pricing get expensive?

A conversation counts as all messages within 96 hours. At high volume or with many separate questions, that adds up, with overage of €25 per 250 conversations on top of your plan. Conveya's fixed plans with included minutes are more predictable then.

Does Watermelon do telephony too?

Watermelon lists phone as a channel, but the product started chat-first. Conveya comes from AI telephony, so if voice is a core channel for you, that is the clearest distinction.
