Frequently asked questions about Custom Webhooks
Outbound: HMAC-SHA256 signature in an 'X-Conveya-Signature' header, plus an optional IP whitelist on your side. Inbound: you generate a secret and sign every call with HMAC-SHA256, Conveya verifies.
Exponential backoff: 1s, 5s, 30s, 2m, 10m, 1h. After 6 failed attempts the event is marked 'failed' and visible in your audit log.
