Frequently asked questions about Outlook
Microsoft 365 (cloud) is fully supported through Graph. Exchange on-premise requires Exchange Online Hybrid or the EWS API, ask during onboarding.
Delegated permissions with user consent by default. For enterprise deployments an Azure AD admin can grant tenant-wide consent so individual users do not have to accept.
Only Mail.Send (send on behalf of the user). No Mail.Read, no Mail.ReadWrite, no access to the Outlook calendar or contacts.
